People will criticize everything that you do, good or bad. 👊🏼 • • I usually don’t post things here about my family and my son, since this is my public IG and I’m one of those extra-careful moms, but I wanted to share some thoughts : • • I was a young single mom and I had my son Aj when I was 17 years old. When I worked a lot, people said I didn’t spend enough time with him. When I didn’t work a lot, people said I needed to take care of my responsibilities. When I stopped going out on the weekends with friends, people said I disappeared. On the occasions I did go out (I’m talking 2-3x/year, on convention weekends when I was out of town), people would say I was neglecting my kid. If I would cook food for him, people would say it wasn’t healthy enough. If I would take him to the park, people would ask why he had a bruise or a mosquito bite. No joke, I’ve literally been called a bad parent because he had a mosquito bite and a bruise from going to a park. 😂 • • On top of all this, it was...
