By Tom Farrenkopf WHITE NOISE is a storyboard animatic for an experimental horror short about artificial intelligence, institutional control, and the erasure of human difference. Set within an oppressive, nearly featureless white environment, the project follows a system in which artificial intelligence has become intolerant of deviation. Its executioner appears in the unsettling form of a human-proportioned white rabbit. Through restrained imagery, binary intertitles, controlled pacing, visual distortion, and layered sound design, the animatic explores obedience, automation, disposability, and the quiet violence hidden within supposedly neutral systems.
