People always seem to get defensive when I say this… But the reality is that as much as I LOVE getting out with my kiddo, I still need some me time too. Filling my cup up makes me a better mom. More patient. More engaged. I think we really need to get away from the “all or nothing” narratives around parenthood. You can raise outdoorsy kids AND take solo adventures to fill up your cup.
