Reinforcing the flatline:
if you’re having issues with a successful rake, this might be a good progression to work on. Teaching the bottom side wall to drive into the ball and the opponents pocket rather than moving to the left and missing the ball entirely.
1. Without a ball, we practice flat lining the bottom side wall into the middle of our opponents pocket on their clamp, keeping our left hand low to create a good shelf.
2. We add a ball so you have a target using the same mechanics.
3. Reinforcing the movement with live reps clamp versus rake.
When Dunwright a rake should either pull the ball out or at least drag the opponent down the line meaning they clamped on top of your bottom side wall.
