Before she came to Sycamores, Jamie was struggling with depression and felt hopeless about the future. With support from Sycamores, including housing, counseling, food, and other vital services, Jamie began to heal and rebuild her life. Today, she feels amazing. We’re thrilled to celebrate a major milestone: Jamie’s one-year anniversary in her own home! With additional support from the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), she’s not only found stability, but she’s also now on track to graduate college. Her journey is a powerful reminder that healing and a better life are possible with the right support.
