We recently had the opportunity to participate in the community event #PowerofPlay alongside partners DMH, First 5 LA UCDavis Childrens Hospital and many others. Our school-based services team hosted a table where they provided families with information and resources on mental health, and even performed a live Parent-Child Interaction Therapy demo! Play between children and caregivers opens the door for communication, for families to enjoy time together, to laugh with one another, to have a better relationship, and it lets children know that they matter.
