Special shout out to some of our newest volunteers: #EunityTree! The group visited our Highland Park Family Resource Center, where member, Dr. Philip Levin, UCLA Health’s Chief Medical Officer, led an activity for youth on one of his passions: film! Students got to watch The Secret Life Of Pets, paying close attention to its themes and messages. Afterwards, Dr. Levin and the students drew their favorite character embodying the message they enjoyed most from the film such as friendship, forgiveness, unity. Thank you so much for bringing this fun and educational activity to our kids, where they were able to think critically about the film and test their artistic abilities! #ThankfulThursdays
