It’s Air Quality Awareness Week. Today, we’re focused on air quality and environmental justice. Environmental justice is a state where all people have equal protections from pollution and ability to influence decisions that affect health and the environment. In Minnesota, the neighborhoods where more Black, Indigenous and people of color live bear a higher burden of air pollution from traffic and industries, compared to the rest of the state.
