It's National Public Health Week, and the theme today is Violence Prevention. Sexual violence is a serious public health problem that impacts millions of people each year in the United States alone.
By 11th grade, 16% of Minnesota students have experienced sexual violence. Rates are higher for LGBTQ+ students, BIPOC students, and students with disabilities.
