Today is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a day to increase awareness and community involvement in HIV prevention and care among Black and African American communities. Put it on your list to get tested — anyone age 13 to 64 should be tested for HIV at least once, and if you’re sexually active or share syringes/injection equipment, get tested yearly.
