Commissioner Malcolm and Governor Walz got their second booster dose yesterday and encouraged Minnesotans to talk to their health care provider about COVID-19 vaccination for themselves and their family. Vaccination, which includes getting your primary series and a booster when due, is the best way to help protect yourself and others from COVID-19. For certain people, a second booster dose may provide added protection against COVID-19 disease that results in hospitalization and death. These groups include people age 50 and older, people age 12 and older with certain immunocompromising conditions, and people who received J&J vaccine for their initial dose and booster dose.
