Our Environmental Laboratory protects the environment and Minnesotans by performing chemical, bacteriological, and radiological analyses of environmental samples. The lab tests things like drinking water, surface water, wastewater, air, soil, and hazardous waste. These services, which work to keep Minnesotans healthy and safe, are provided to programs at the county, state, and national levels.
