Holiday traditions are important for families and children. However, COVID-19 continues to spread at high levels across the state. As we head into the second holiday season of the pandemic, take these steps for safer in-person gatherings: - Get vaccinated, including boosters. - Lay low before you go. Avoid crowded settings for a couple weeks beforehand. - Get tested before getting together with others. - Stay home if you have symptoms or if you test positive for COVID-19. - Use multiple layers of protection. Wear a mask in crowded settings and stick to outdoor or socially distanced activities when possible, especially if you’re getting together with multiple households, multiple generations, unvaccinated people, or people in high-risk groups. - If you may have been exposed to COVID-19, follow these recommendations for quarantine and testing: health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/close.html Learn more at cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holida...
