Did you know 75% of Minnesotans get their drinking water from groundwater sources? We work to protect groundwater by inspecting and monitoring public drinking water systems for more than 100 contaminants. We establish and enforce standards for constructing and sealing private and public wells. We investigate and communicate health risk and exposure potential of contaminants in ground water.
