An average of 350-400 stillbirths occur in Minnesota every year. Stillbirths are the spontaneous and unplanned death of a fetus in utero at 20 or more week's gestation. There are just as many stillbirths as there are infant deaths in Minnesota, but stillbirths often don't get as much attention. Talking about it provides an opportunity for healthcare, community groups and coalitions to bring awareness to this often overlooked problem. #PregnancyandInfantLossAwarenessMonth
