In partnership with ASSYST-Heart Humanitarian Project, on February 8th, Sycamores hosted a FREE community support event to help individuals affected by the wildfires. Mental health professionals from Sycamores and the nearby community were trained in the ASSYST Group Therapy model, a recent event protocol related to EMDR, by Dr. Ignacio Jarero, PhD, Nicolle Mainthow, LMFT, and Tim Eby McKenzie, LMFT.
