In honor of Flag Day yesterday, the Minnesota Veterans Homes - Bemidji proudly hosted Harold Baggenstoss VFW Post 1260 annual Flag Retirement Ceremony. More than 50 people, including Residents, family members, staff, volunteers, Scouts and members of the VFW and Auxiliary, gathered to respectfully retire more than 25 American flags. The ceremony included a prayer from Chaplain Philip Houser, an honor salute from the VFW Honor Guard and a special tribute from Residents, who each presented a flag and shared a salute as part of the program.
