Yesterday, Veteran Residents from the Silver Bay Veterans Home visited a local greenhouse to select a vibrant assortment of flowers and plants to enhance the gardens throughout the Home. These additions will complement what they’ve already been growing from seed as part of their Farm to Table program. Residents enjoyed choosing a variety of blooms to create colorful container arrangements for household patios, helping set the stage for a beautiful seasonal display across campus. A special thank you to Jen’s Northshore Nursery in Finland, MN for assisting with plant selection and kindly storing our loaded wagons in the greenhouse until planting day next week.
