There’s been a lot of excitement in Fergus Falls lately and it’s been felt throughout the Fergus Falls Veterans Home! Staff and Residents have been proudly cheering on local American Idol contestant Chris Tungseth, who has made it into the Top 5. Each week has brought a new wave of energy as everyone follows along and casts their votes. Thanks to Mayor Anthony Hicks, a cardboard cutout of Chris made its way into the building and quickly became a hit. It sparked plenty of laughs, photos and moments of connection for both Residents and staff. It’s been a fun and meaningful way to bring people together and celebrate someone from the local community.
