It took a little hard work and brought a lot of smiles when the Silver Bay Veterans Homes hosted their planting day! 🌱 This year, they are trying a new approach to gardening by starting a variety of vegetables and flowers from seed. A big thank you to Jadell from Little Waldo Farms for sharing her seeds and teaching Residents the art of sowing. The Home is also grateful for Scott and Savannah from Anderson’s Greenhouse for their expert advice on sowing and transplanting and for helping care for the Residents seedlings as they grow.
