Winter in Minnesota doesn’t slow down the fun at the Minnesota Veterans Homes - Preston! ❄️ Veteran Residents have been staying busy with a weekly 500 Card Tournament, where teams compete for bragging rights and plenty of friendly competition. They’ve also started planting seeds for the Home’s raised bed gardens—an especially meaningful tradition in the Driftless Area, where agriculture and gardening are such an important part of the community. We can’t wait to see the gardens come to life this summer. Another new favorite at the Home is cardio drumming! With great music, pounding drumsticks and lots of movement, it’s a fun way to get exercise and share some laughs.
