Students and their teacher, Miss Peggy, from Hawks Nest Early Childhood Center Preschool, visited the Montevideo Veterans Home for the second annual presentation of the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance. The preschoolers worked all year to learn both, preparing to perform for the Homes Veterans—many of whom know them well. After their heartfelt presentation, the students enjoyed making a craft alongside the Residents.
