Did you know that when the clock strikes midnight in Uganda, it’s 3:00 p.m. in Silver Bay? That’s when Veteran Residents at the Silver Bay Veterans Home celebrated the New Year! Julie, the Homes' Recreation Director, shared her connection to Uganda through her sponsorship of 5-year-old twins Angel and Newton with Compassion International. Over the years, Residents have enjoyed reading their letters and seeing their photos, and reflecting on the many places their own service has taken them.
