The holidays truly come to life when traditions are shared at the Montevideo Veterans Home. Residents have been busy with their annual holiday baking—making homemade arm-pit fudge (a classic, old-fashioned no-bake fudge named for the traditional way it was mixed and shaped), cookies and lefse, all in preparation for the Homes Christmas party. The Homes kitchen was filled lots of laughter, shared stories and, of course, sweet treats.
