The Halloween Mystery Social was a hauntingly good time at the Minneapolis Veterans Home! This one-of-a-kind event blended a theatrical “who done it” mystery, escape room–style clues and a costume contest. Residents teamed up with volunteers to solve clues and uncover who stole the costume contest trophy, all while enjoying fall treats, laughter and plenty of Halloween fun. 👻 The idea came from a Recreation Therapy planning meeting where the team set out to create something brand new. With weeks of scripting, planning and rehearsals, the whole team brought the mystery to life!
