The Silver Bay Veterans Home recently celebrated Oktoberfest in the garden with a lively performance by Steven Solkela, an entertainer, comedian and local talent who recently performed at the Minnesota State Fair. The Home Residents enjoyed Oktoberfest-themed treats, including root beer floats and fresh apples served with homemade Apple Cider Caramel Sauce from the Homes Valor Café.
