Today we want to highlight some often-unsung heroes of the Minnesota Veterans Homes: Housekeeping’s General Maintenance Workers. They are always working – 365 days a year. At the Hastings Veterans Home, this team worked tirelessly to move Veterans and prepare an isolation wing in preparation for future COVID-19 cases. At the Minneapolis Veterans Home, Victor has been working seven days a week, providing critical cleaning and sanitization services for both Residents and staff.
