The first time you do anything, expect to learn more than you win. I was so excited during my first season of @sharktankabc that I made a $1 million offer on one of my very first deals. Michelle probably wanted me to sleep outside after hearing that. 😂 The problem wasn’t @yellowleafhammocks - I’d invest in them again in a heartbeat. The problem was my approach. I learned to preserve my firepower because there are a lot of entrepreneurs still waiting behind those doors, and there’s a lot to learn from watching the other Sharks. Whatever you’re trying for the first time, don’t expect perfection. Expect to develop pattern recognition.
