In December 2016, the KCMC Helmut & Rotraut Diefenthal Cancer Care Clinic and the KCMC Mark & Linda Jacobson Infusion Centre opened to improve the diagnosis and treatment of the 15+ million people of Northern Tanzania. Every year since then, we’ve evaluated more than 1,000 new patients, administered chemotherapy infusions to more than 800 patients, and conducted nearly 11,000 patient visits.
