Over the Fourth of July, Big Boy #UP4014 helped make Philadelphia’s #America250 celebration one to remember. In partnership with norfolksouthern, we brought the legendary locomotive to the East Coast for the first time and welcomed more than 100,000 visitors during two public display days in the birthplace of American independence. As we celebrated our nation’s history, Big Boy also served as a reminder of Union Pacific’s commitment to the future – delivering safe, reliable service that keeps the U.S. supply chain moving.
