FIFA is selling pieces of the grass used for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final at N.Y. N.J. Stadium for $450 each, with the turf preserved in resin and packaged as a commemorative collectible.
Each piece includes World Cup branding, match details, the final score, and a USB containing an authenticity film.
FIFA's partner, Keep Stub, is offering premium versions ranging from $900 to $3,000, with each tier limited to 2,026 pieces. If all inventory sells out, the collectibles could generate more than $11.2M in revenue.
The move comes despite criticism from some players and coaches about the quality of the temporary grass surface installed over the stadium’s usual artificial turf.
