With Talie & Youba' joined by Senegalese kora player Youba Cissokho, bringing folk music to life through the songs and stories of Haiti, Senegal, and the Black American tradition. Istanbul Trio's 'Sounds of the Silk Road: Music, Stories and Cultural Connection' embarks students on a musical journey along the Silk Road, experiencing the sounds of Turkey, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.
