Sis Bates is known for the energy and positivity she brings to everyone around her. After being placed on the 7-day injured list on July 9, Bates spoke with We Live Softball about finding new ways to contribute while she is unable to take the field. “I am a firm believer that all roles matter,” Bates said. “Although I can’t be on the field right now, I can impact in a different way […] and pour confidence and love into everybody.” We also asked Bates which teammate has lifted her up most throughout her career.
