Taj DeGourville knew transferring to Nebraska meant learning an entirely different system. So far, he likes what he sees. The former San Diego State guard has impressed Nebraska coaches and teammates during summer workouts as he adjusts to Fred Hoiberg's up-tempo style. "Offensively, it's just like an NBA environment," DeGourville said. "There's a lot of space." Defensively, however, the learning curve has been just as significant. "San Diego State was more like guard your own," he said. "Here it's full rotations." Hoiberg believes DeGourville brings exactly what Nebraska needed. "He gives us an element of toughness that we really needed with this group," Hoiberg said. "He's going to be a good one for us."
