Happy #CapybaraAppreciationDay from Tootsie 💚 Capybaras are the world’s largest rodent. Native to South America, they can be found near bodies of water such as lakes, rivers, and wetlands. These excellent swimmers even have partially webbed feet and are highly social. They also have an impressive vocabulary, using whistles, chirps, barks and even purrs to communicate with one another. Capybaras are herbivorous and primarily graze on grass and aquatic plants, although they have been known to eat other kinds of vegetation such as fruits and tree bark.
