🏆 We did it! Your Birmingham Zoo has been named Alabama’s Attraction of the Year for 2026! This recognition belongs to every staff member, volunteer, zoo member, donor, and guest who makes the Birmingham Zoo such a special place. Over the past year, we welcomed more than 500,000 guests during our 70th anniversary, welcomed new animals, expanded conservation and education efforts, opened Cougar Crossing, launched Dino Safari, and continued creating meaningful connections between people and wildlife.
