Before we celebrate Disability Pride Month this July, it’s important to understand the journey that brought us here. Disability Pride is a movement that blossomed globally after the ADA passed in 1990. Here in Minnesota, Governor Walz officially declared July as Disability Pride Month in 2022, and ACT - Advocating Change Together hosted our state's very first official event in 2023.
