This October, we observe the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). NDEAM honors the contributions of America’s workers living with disabilities and showcases supportive workplace policies that benefit everyone. This year’s theme, "Celebrating Value and Talent," also highlights the achievements of people with disabilities past and present as we lead up to America’s 250th anniversary. The observance has evolved significantly since its start in 1945, expanding to acknowledge all disabilities and the importance of full workforce participation.
