The usofortcavazos commemorated Armed Forces Day at the Armed Forces Day USO Kids: Storytime event Friday at the USO at Fort Cavazos. The event featured a reading by Col. Lakicia Stokes, U.S. Army Garrison-Fort Cavazos commander. After getting to know the children and their moms, Stokes read “My Daddy is a Hero," a rhyming book that salutes military dads, by Hannah Tolson, with the help of a few of the little ones in attendance.
