Yesterday, March 2, the Cavazos Connector officially became fully operational. Fort Cavazos Leadership, civic leaders, representatives of the Hill Country Transit District and the community gathered for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony, the micro-transit vehicles departed the Community Events Center to enable riders to book their respective rides at no cost on the installation. All five micro-transit zones are now active along with the circulator route’s 28 stops. It is an efficient and convenient way to transit the Great Place for all those who have DOD identification cards. The service will operate from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m during weekdays and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. during weekends and holidays.
