PRESCRIBED BURNS SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEK: The Fort Cavazos Fort Cavazos Directorate of Public Works Natural and Cultural Resources Management Branch, in conjunction with the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge will execute prescribed burns on the following dates: • Wednesday, Jan. 31: Prescribed burns at Training Areas TA31, TA32, TA33, TA34, and TA36 (slash piles). • Thursday, Feb 1: Prescribed burn at Training Area TA112. • Friday, Feb 2: Prescribed burns at Training Areas TA11 and TA12 (slash piles). Location details are as follows: • TA31, TA32, TA33, TA34, and TA36 are situated on the Southeast side of the Installation, accessible via North Nolan Road. • TA112 is located off East Range Road, close to the ACP. • TA11 and TA12 are positioned at North Fort Cavazos, north of Hwy 36.
