Ten years ago today, I learned that I would be leaving the best job I had ever had (#USArmy) earlier than expected. A year after that, I was in the Middle East, capturing life as it unfolded. I decided to take a risk on myself and switch careers completely, carrying only essential soft skills such as leadership, conflict resolution, and discipline with me as I embarked on a new adventure.
