We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Cenzoo, the western lowland gorilla, at riverbankszoosc. 🤍 Cenzoo holds a special place in DZCA history. He arrived during our 100th Anniversary in 1996 and was part of the first family group of gorillas to call Primate Panorama home. Though he moved on to make his mark at several other incredible institutions, his time here was unforgettable. Our hearts go out to the entire Riverbanks Zoo and Garden team, who loved and cared for him so deeply.
