Another toad-al success! This year's boreal toad release was our biggest yet! 🐸 A team of 27 volunteers, including 9 DZCA employees, headed into the mountains near Leadville to release over 3,500 tadpoles into carefully selected alpine habitat. That's more than any previous release in our program's history! 🏔️ Since 2011, DZCA has partnered with coparkswildlife to breed and reintroduce this State-Endangered species into the Rocky Mountains.
