🐻 It’s #BearAwarenessWeek, and nobody celebrates quite like Tundra. Our resident grizzly bear is living her best life at Harmony Hill, splashing in her pool, snacking on her favorites, and reminding us all why bears like her deserve safe spaces to thrive. 🎉 But Tundra's story didn't start here. She came to DZCA as a cub after her mother was deemed a "nuisance bear," a designation given to bears that lose their natural fear of humans after finding food in unsecured trash. It's a reminder that how we coexist with wildlife matters.
