April 28 was #SaveTheFrogsDay! 🐸 Dr. Jimmy Johnson, Senior Director of Wildlife Health and Conservation, and Brian Aucone, Chief Conservation Officer, were recently on the ground in Peru working alongside our Latin America conservation partners to monitor two of the world's most endangered frog species: the Lake Titicaca water frog and the Lake Junín frog. These aren't just any frogs. The Lake Titicaca water frog exists nowhere else on Earth, and DZCA has been partnering with local communities and governments to protect them since 2012.
