Feeling thankful as we remember one of Catalina’s most beloved characters — Old Ben, the sea lion who stole everyone’s hearts. 🦭 Legend has it he swam into Avalon Bay in the late 1800s and made himself right at home — charming fishermen, tourists, swimmers, and locals alike. He’d splash out of the water, bark a hello, and even pose for pictures (or take a fish or two!).
