A proposed luxury home development is stirring up strong reactions in Greenville's North Main neighborhood. The proposal, submitted by The Gallo Company, would transform the overgrown property into seven new luxury homes. While city zoning regulations would allow up to eight homes on the site, developers said they reduced the number to seven to better fit the surrounding neighborhood. From the street, the property is marked by vacant homes and dense overgrowth.
