The MEAC was well represented at this year’s HBCU Philanthropy Symposium, hosted by Delaware State University. MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills and Deputy Director of Athletics, Chief Operating Officer for Alabama State University Cyrus Russ sat on a panel entitled, “The Business of HBCU Athletics: Building Sustainable Programs.” MEAC Associate Commissioner for Development & Partnership Strategy Cesley Tafoya moderated the panel. We enjoyed a great weekend of fellowship, and networking, while gaining valuable information to grow the conference.
