UFC President & CEO Dana White says the organization will fully fund its planned fight card on the White House South Lawn this June with no taxpayer money involved. White indicated the event will surpass the UFC’s blockbuster 2024 Sphere card (which cost ~$20M), citing ambitious production plans, a custom lighting setup and expansive fan activations across Washington, D.C. The event is expected to host 5,000 fans on the South Lawn and 80,000 more at The Ellipse, featuring concerts, fighter signings, press events and live viewing on big screens — essentially transforming the capital into a week‑long “International Fight Week.” White emphasized that UFC will “eat the whole cost,” including a reported $700,000 fee just to restore the South Lawn after the event.
